  • 9+ Miles.
  • 36 Obstacles. A mountain. Mud. Harder than Hell.
  • Join US Navy SEALs for an event you will never forget.

What you get…

Would you rather tell your mom you completed a course designed by a Harvard MBA or US Navy SEALs?

High quality technical tee-shirt from our friends at Rigor Gear.  Wear it with pride, you will have earned it!

$1 beers after that! Ah, the sweet taste of victory…

You will have to earn it, but you will receive it from former US Navy SEALs!

With at least 36 military-style obstacles spread out over 9+ miles, the course will test everyone and leave no one unscathed. On average we place an obstacle every 1/4-mile, so your running ability alone will not carry the day. Oh and did we mention the entire course is laid out on a ski mountain?  You must be functionally fit to succeed here. You will get muddy. You will get beat up. You will be exhausted. But you will finish.

You choose your own start time during our registration process. Times begin with our Elite Heat at 9:00am and run every fifteen minutes until 3:00pm. Sign up early as each wave is limited to 100 Bone Frogs – the morning is already filling up!

We have always subscribed to the “work hard, play hard” mentality and our after party is not to be missed!  Bands, beer, bon fire, special challenges…SEALs know how to have fun.  Join us!

Not ready for the full nine miles?  Still into 5km obstacle courses?  “Man I would love to run a real Navy SEAL event but not sure I am up to the entire course?”  Not to worry- grab two lucky friends and sign up for our relay option!  Each will run about 3 miles (hint the first leg is the most difficult) with hand-offs occurring on the mountain near operating chair lifts.  So what is your excuse again?

For those who simply cannot get enough…The SEAL Wave is a very special fundraising program where you and your group run the entire course the day before the main event (so you have the course more or less to yourself Friday May 16th) with a Navy SEAL.  This is not a race (unless  you and your entire group want it to be!), but an opportunity to experience the course with our nations finest elite special operators.  Ask questions, get fitness advice, swap war stories, get a date for your sister…whatever.  Half the proceeds go to the Navy SEAL Foundation to support our brother and their families.  A great team building exercise for any group- truly life long memories made while you support a great cause.  Minimum group size is five.  We ask that you keep the group under ten total to maintain the intimacy, but its your day and we can work with you on this.  Email us if you have questions.

Registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable.  All entries are subject to an additional medical insurance fee of $11. You are required to have fun and act like an adult.  Failure to comply will be met by angry Navy SEALs.

the wall

Spectators are welcome and encouraged! Don’t keep all the fun for yourself- bring the entire family!  A cheering section never hurt and we open the mountain to our guests.  There are many great viewing opportunities of both the course and the epic landscape! Everyone 10 years or older needs their own spectator pass. They cost  $10 at the gate.

Timed race entry, elite sweat-wicking Bone Frog tee-shirt, finisher medal, after party, one free beer (soda if you’re not yet 21), and of course- the best bragging rights in the industry.  Oh yeah, and free parking.

The Bone Frog Challenge is proud to offer a $40 discount for all military with proper ID (the largest discount in the industry). This includes Active Duty, Vets, Reserve and Guard. Participants who register as military and fail to produce proper ID on race day will be charged a $65 penalty fee. We also offer a $20 discount for current Law Enforcement Officers and First Responders.

As Navy SEALs we have been forced to spend a great deal of time away from our families. As a result, whenever we can, we include the entire family in all that we do. The Bone Frog Challenge event weekend offers fun and activities for all ages. Let the kids come watch you race and then let them loose in our Mini Bone Frog Challenge Kids Area where they can play in the mud and on scaled down obstacles.

Love the program but not ready to run the course? Be a part of the action and volunteer! We could not do this without our dedicated volunteers.  This year our volunteers motivated, pushed and cajoled participants through the most difficult terrain and the most challenging obstacles.  If you are motivated and loud, we would love to see you in a volunteer shirt on race day!  All volunteers receive a free tee-shirt, free beer, food and 50% off a future Bone Frog Challenge event!  What better way to enjoy and be part of the action! Space is limited, so sign up today!
